في القرية، حيث
تبدأ الصباحات بنقر الدجاجات الرقيق، وحيث تلامس أشعة الشمس الذهبية كل سطح، عاش
قطيع من الدجاج ظنّ أنه في مأمن.
كان صاحبهم، وهو
مزارع عجوز، يعتني بهم جيدًا. كانت الدجاجات تنبش الأرض، وتتقاسم الطعام، وترحب
بالدجاجات الجديدة بينها. كان كل شيء يسير على ما يرام، ولكن فجأة بدأت الريح
تتغير.
لم يلحظ أحد قدوم
الريح.
لم تأتِ كريح
عاتية، ولا كعدو من السماء؛ بل كانت "ريحًا خفية".
لم يلحظ أحد أي
شيء غير طبيعي في الدجاجات. بدت بصحة جيدة؛ ريشها يلمع؛ بيضها وفير. لكن في
داخلها، بدأ شيء ما يتحرك، لكن لم يلحظه أحد.
لاحظت دجاجة
صغيرة، تُدعى سيرا Sera،
هذا التغيير.
"ما الذي
أصاب الهواء؟ أشعر بثقله."
ضحكت الدجاجات
العجوز عليها.
"أنتِ تقلقين
كثيرًا. نحن قويات."
لكن الريح استمرت
في التنقل من منقار إلى آخر، ومن نفس إلى آخر. رافقت الزوار، واختبأت في الماء
الصالح للشرب، وترددت في الأماكن التي تتجمع فيها الطيور عادةً.
ثم بدأت الأمور
تتغير.
توقف ديك كان
يتمتع بنشاط كبير عن الصياح. وتوقفت دجاجة لم تكن تتوقف عن وضع البيض. وقفت الطيور
بلا حراك وكأنها تستمع إلى نداء لا يسمعه أحد سواها.
لاحظت سيرا كل هذه
الأشياء. قالت بهدوء: "إنها ليست مفترسة، إنها بداخلنا".
بدأ المزارع
العجوز يلاحظ الأشياء أيضًا. مع أن معظم الطيور بدت بصحة جيدة، إلا أن هناك خطبًا
ما. رأى ما لم تره الطيور:
ليس كل خطر يُصدر
صوتًا.
لم تكن الريح تمر
من خلالها فحسب، بل كانت تعيش بينها.
وازدادت قوتها حيث
كان القطيع أكثر انفتاحًا - حيث كانت الطيور الجديدة تصل دون توقف، وحيث كانت
الحدود غير محكمة، وحيث لامس العالم الخارجي الداخل دون اكتراث.
في إحدى الأمسيات،
أجرى المزارع تغييرًا.
بنى فواصل صغيرة.
نظّف ما كان مهملاً. راقب الوافدين الجدد قبل الترحيب بهم. والأهم من ذلك، أنه جلب
درعًا هادئًا - حماية لا تراها الطيور لكنها تحملها في داخلها.
شيئًا فشيئًا، خفت
حدة الريح.
لا تزال موجودة،
تتهادى على أطراف الفناء، متربصةً بالإهمال. لكن داخل القطيع، تغيّر شيء ما. لم
يعودوا غافلين.
وقفت سيرا عند
السياج عند الفجر، تشعر بالنسيم نفسه الذي كان يحمل الخطر.
قالت: "لا
يزال موجودًا".
أجابها المزارع
العجوز: "نعم".

We read scientific research in a
literary manner, and we write that reading in an innovative narrative story
format, within our scientific literary project to simplify applied sciences for
the general public and specialists. The creative narrative style can be easily
and readily understood by the general public and specialists, and can even be
palatable, digested, revisited, and recounted in the future. Transforming the
scientific research published in specialized scientific journals into a short,
creative, and innovative scientific story that does not exceed one page makes
it easier for everyone to access all that is new and innovative published in
scientific journals, in light of the scientific explosion and rapid development
that man in the modern era cannot keep up with except by summarizing,
simplifying, and re-presenting everything long and complex.
Here is a short,
innovative story about "Evaluating serological
and molecular detection of Newcastle virus and identifying associated risk
factors in chickens," directly inspired by the core ideas of

The Invisible Wind in the Chicken Yard
In the village,
where the mornings began with the gentle clucking of hens, where the golden sun
touched every rooftop, there lived a flock that thought they were safe.
Their owner, an
old farmer, took good care of them. The chickens scratched the earth, shared
food, and welcomed the new ones among them. Everything was going well, but then
the wind started changing.
Nobody noticed
the arrival of the wind.
It did not arrive
as a strong wind, nor as an enemy from the sky; instead, it was an “invisible
wind.”
Nobody noticed
anything wrong with the chickens. They looked healthy; their feathers were
shining; eggs were abundant. But inside them, something had started to move,
but nobody noticed.
One young hen,
named Sera, noticed the change.
“What
is wrong with the air? It feels so heavy.”
The old hens
laughed at her.
“You
worry too much. We are strong.”
But the wind kept
moving from one beak to another, from one breath to another. It accompanied
visitors, hid in drinkable water, and lingered in places where birds tended to
congregate.
And then, things
started to change.
A rooster who
once had a lot of energy stopped crowing. A hen who never took a day off
stopped laying eggs. Birds stood motionless as if listening to a call no one
else could hear.
Sera observed all
of these things. “It is not a predator,” she said softly. “It is inside us.”
The old farmer
started to notice things too. Though most of the birds looked healthy, there
was something wrong. He saw what the birds couldn’t:
Not all danger
makes noise.
The wind wasn’t
just moving through; it was living among them.
And it grew
stronger where the flock was most open—where new birds arrived without pause,
where boundaries were loose, and where the outside world touched the inside
without care.
One evening, the
farmer made a change.
He built small
separations. He cleaned what had been ignored. He watched new arrivals before
welcoming them. And most importantly, he brought a quiet shield—a protection
the birds could not see but would carry within them.
Slowly, the wind
lost its power.
It still existed,
drifting at the edges of the yard, waiting for carelessness. But inside the
flock, something had changed. They were no longer unaware.
Sera stood at the
fence at dawn, feeling the same breeze that once carried danger.
“It
is still there,” she said.
“Yes,”
the old farmer replied.
