كان هناك وادٍ
يعجّ بالدجاج الذي يتجول بحرية بين حظائر ذهبية. لطالما اعتمد المزارعون على أعينهم
وغرائزهم لحماية قطعانهم. إلا أن أعداء هذه الطيور كانوا أذكياء. هؤلاء الأعداء، الذين
يُدعون كوتشي وسالمو ونيوكا، كانوا صغارًا، غير مرئيين، وماكرين،
يتسللون إلى أجساد الدجاج، ولا يتركون وراءهم سوى أثر خافت لوجودهم.
عادةً ما كان المزارعون
يلاحظون ذلك بعد فوات الأوان.
في أحد الأيام،
ظهرت آلة غامضة على حافة الوادي. أطلق عليها القرويون اسم "الحارس". كانت
هذه الآلة مختلفة عن عيون المزارع، التي تنظر ببساطة إلى الشيء المرسوم. أما
"الحارس"، فكان يدرس الأنماط.
عندما كان الدجاج
يترك أثرًا على الأرض، كان "الحارس" يدرسه بعناية. أولًا، كان يدرس التفاصيل
الصغيرة، والملامس، والألوان داخل النمط. ثم كان يتراجع خطوة إلى الوراء ويدرس الصورة
الأكبر.
تعلم المراقب هذه
الطريقة المزدوجة للرؤية من تصميم قديم يُدعى ماكسفيت، والذي جمع بين دقة الحرفيين
واتساع رؤية علماء الفلك. كان بإمكانه رؤية الخدوش الدقيقة على الريشة، والأنماط الخفية
في الحقل بأكمله.
لكن القرويين لم
يثقوا بالآلة.
قالوا: "كيف
نثق بشيء يفكر بطريقة مختلفة عنا؟"
أدرك المراقب شكوك
المزارعين، ففعل شيئًا غير متوقع: كشف عن أفكاره.
عندما قال المراقب
إن الطائر مريض، أرشد المزارعين إلى الموضع الدقيق في النمط الذي قاده إلى هذا الاستنتاج،
كفانوس يُنير الأدلة. وأخيرًا فهم المزارعون سبب قول المراقب ما قاله.
وبدأ المزارعون
يثقون بالمراقب.
وبتوجيه من المراقب،
بدأ المزارعون يلاحظون المرض مبكرًا. فأصبحت الطيور بصحة جيدة، ووفر المحصول، وساد
السكينة الوادي.
لا يزال الأعداء
الخفيون يجوبون الأرض، يتربصون في الظلال.
لكن الآن، بات
الوادي يحمل شيئًا جديدًا —
ليس مجرد آلة ترى.
بل عقلًا قادرًا
على تفسير ما يراه.

We read scientific research in a literary manner, and
we write that reading in an innovative narrative story format, within our
scientific literary project to simplify applied sciences for the general public
and specialists. The creative narrative style can be easily and readily
understood by the general public and specialists, and can even be palatable,
digested, revisited, and recounted in the future. Transforming the scientific
research published in specialized scientific journals into a short, creative,
and innovative scientific story that does not exceed one page makes it easier
for everyone to access all that is new and innovative published in scientific
journals, in light of the scientific explosion and rapid development that man
in the modern era cannot keep up with except by summarizing, simplifying, and
re-presenting everything long and complex.
Below is a short
scientific allegory that was inspired by these ideas of disease detection,
hidden patterns, intelligent observation, and explainable vision within a
poultry health system, using the following research:

The Watcher of the Feathered Kingdom
There was a
valley filled with countless chickens roaming freely between golden barns. The
farmers had always relied on their eyes and instincts to protect their flocks.
However, the enemies of these birds were clever. These enemies, named Cocci,
Salmo, and Newca, were small, invisible, and stealthy, sneaking
into the bodies of the chickens, leaving behind only a faint trace of their
existence.
The farmers
usually noticed this too late.
One day, a
mysterious machine appeared at the edge of the valley. The villagers named it The
Watcher. This machine was different from the eyes of a farmer, which simply
looked at a subject. The Watcher, however, studied patterns.
When the chickens
left a trace behind on the earth, the Watcher carefully studied it. First, it
studied the small details, the textures, and the colors within the
pattern. Then it stepped back and studied the larger picture.
The Watcher had
learned this two-fold way of seeing from an ancient design called MaxViT,
which had the focus of craftsmen and the breadth of vision of astronomers. It
could see the tiny scratches on a feather, and the hidden patterns in the
entire field.
But the villagers
did not trust the machine.
“How
can we trust something that thinks differently from us?” they said.
The Watcher knew
the farmers had their doubts. So, the Watcher did something unexpected: it
revealed its thoughts.
When the Watcher
said that the bird had disease, it showed the farmers the exact spot in the
pattern that led to its decision, like a lantern lighting up the clues. And the
farmers finally understood why the Watcher had said what it said.
And the farmers
began to trust the Watcher.
The farmers, with
the Watcher’s guidance, began to see the disease early. The birds became
healthy, the harvest plentiful, and the valley peaceful.
The invisible
enemies still roamed the land, wandering in the shadows.
But now, the
valley had something new—
Not just a
machine that could see.
But a mind
that could explain what it saw.
